We all know that motherboards with the AMD X570 chipset have reached the market at really high prices. So high, that many users are forced to buy motherboards from previous generations. However, after the first moments of its launch, now new models are beginning to reach the market. Models that, without having all the top-of-the-range features, still have the main X570 chipset,
Perhaps the expression “low range” is a bit unfair with these motherboards. After all, the X570 chipset forms the current AMD high-end range in terms of motherboards for Ryzen 3000. Let’s say, then, that they form the input range for this new AMD chipset. And yet, even the most basic models have high prices. Not as much as the usual 250 or 500 euros that can be seen for many models. But yes, more than we could see with the previous generation, AMD X470 chipsets.
GIGABYTE X570 Gaming X
This first GIGABYTE model is the cheapest of all the motherboards that we will see in this article. But it is not a bad option for those who want to mount a system with an AMD Ryzen 3000 processor. Especially if it is a Ryzen 7 or higher.
The motherboard has two PCIe x16 slots and three PCIe x1 slots. For storage, it has 6 SATA 3 ports on its right side. Together with two M.2 slots compatible with NVMe SSD drives. One of the slots has an integrated heat sink for our solid unit. Therefore, this GIGABYTE model has quite good connectivity.
ASUS Prime X570-P
The ASUS model is already, in price, much closer to 200 euros. The board mounts two PCIe x16 slots and three other PCIe x1 slots. This model has 6 SATA 3 ports, plus two other M.2 slots.
ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4
This first ASRock model is quite similar in features to the previous ASUS model. Like this one, it has two PCIe slots, one of them reinforced with metal (the one belonging to the graphic).
But the distribution and location of the SATA 3 ports on the board are much more orderly than in the ASUS model. It also has two M.2 slots for use with NVMe SSD drives.
ASRock X570 Pro4
Finally, this second ASRock model already passes slightly from 200 euros. But it shows that we have already changed from the input range before the average. It shows in the USB C port, which is located on the rear I / O of the board. Or the two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports. Or in the heat sink for the SSD, located in the first M.2 slot. Or, interestingly, it also includes an M.2 slot designed to put a WiFi card to the computer.
In short, you can see a true category jump compared to the rest of the motherboards that are cheaper. Although, more interestingly, several of the features of this ASRock model we had already seen on the first motherboard: the GIGABYTE X570 Gaming X.
